The rule for height of cut for any type of gang mower is 1/3 diameter of the cylinder for these upto 2" can be taken off in any pass ( for example if your grass is 4" long you need to set the height at 2" or more depending on conditions)

These machines are not suitable for Rough paddocks such as pony paddocks & similar rough areas.
